Our Medicare health plan is designed exclusively for PSHB retirees. When you enroll in High Option Senior Advantage 2, you’ll get up to $2,100 reimbursement per year ($175 per month) toward your Medicare Part B premium. This covers what most people pay. Your spouse is eligible too – that's up to $4,200 each year.
No matter which Senior Advantage plan you choose, you’ll get better benefits and save on your out-of-pocket costs than with your PSHB benefits alone. Benefits vary by plan option.

Kaiser Permanente is an HMO plan and a prescription drug plan (PDP) with Medicare contracts. Enrollment in Kaiser Permanente depends on contract renewal. To join a Kaiser Permanente Medicare health plan, you must reside in the Kaiser Permanente Medicare health plan service area in which you enroll. Enrolling in a Kaiser Permanente Medicare health plan for Postal Service members will not affect the benefits you receive through the Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program, although the network and other rules of Medicare may apply. PSHB Program coverage is described in PSHB brochure RI 73-920.
1You must continue to pay the Medicare Part B premium to remain in the Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage (HMO) plan.
2For certain drugs, you can get prescription refills mailed to you through our Kaiser Permanente mail-order pharmacy. You should receive them within 3-5 days. If not, please call 808-643-7979.
